The Federal Trade Commission (FTC)<\/strong> regulates the use of the \u201cMade in the USA\u201d label. To qualify, a product must be \u201call or virtually all\u201d made in the United States. However, this does not necessarily mean that every component is sourced domestically. Some companies may assemble products in the U.S. but use imported raw materials, and still legally call them \u201cMade in America.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Berry Compliance, on the other hand, is far stricter. Established in 1941 during World War II, the Berry Amendment requires that all textiles, apparel, and certain other materials purchased by the Department of Defense (DoD) be 100% sourced and manufactured in the United States. This ensures supply chain security, supports American jobs, and guarantees that the U.S. military is not reliant on foreign materials for mission-critical gear.
